Melody’s Pet Ranch was founded by Pet lover Melody Freeman in 1996, providing a quiet, safe and relaxing retreat for dogs of all sizes, with our 3 indoor/outdoor climate control kennel buildings, offering easy listening music during the day and relaxing music during the night, giving each of our guests a nice comfortable experience. Open 7 days a week.

Melody's Pet Ranch Policies
There is a charge for the first day of boarding, the time your pet is dropped off on their first day of boarding does not make a difference in price. For the day you pick up, if your pet is picked up during our morning office hours (our check out time) there is no charge for pick up day, however, if your pet stays until afternoon office hours, there is an additional charge for that day.
Melody’s Pet Ranch reserves the right to restrict and prohibit boarding any pet with aggressive behavior and to consider certain breeds. (Pit Bulls or Bull Terriers). Any pet exhibiting aggressive behavior towards other guests or staff while in our facility may be prohibited from daycare or boarding with us.
Melody’s Pet Ranch does not recommend female canines to board while in heat*
*This boarding decision will be at Melody’s Pet Ranch discretion.
Late Pickups and Drop offs.
An additional charge of $25 will be added for any service provided outside of our business hours. Our staff and guests need down time, and we need time to clean & maintain our kennels. Please respect our schedule so we can make your pet stay as happy and stress free as possible.

Medications/Diets
If your pet requires medication and/or a special diet, owner must let us know while booking, all medications and/or special diet meals must be labeled along with proper dosage instructions.
An additional fee of $1.50 will be charged to administer medication and/or special diet (per administration).
*Special diet any type of food that's not dry, food that needs to be refrigerated in containers, mixed with dry, etc...
Extra $3.00 will be charged per day.

*Melody’s Pet Ranch requires all pets to be on Flea and Tick prevention, if our staff finds a Flea or Tick on your pet,
it will be treated at the pet owner's expense.
Vaccinations
Melody’s Pet Ranch requires proof of the following prior to the stay.
For any dog staying at our facility, we require Rabies, Distemper and Bordetella, Canine Influenza*
For any cat staying at our facility, we require Rabies, FVRCP, Feline Leukemia*
Please email your current vaccines at melodyspetranch@gmail.com or text to our cel number 210.956.1132 and confirm that they are current before your pet arrives at our facility. For the safety of your pet and all our other guests, any dog or cat arriving without proof of vaccines will not be able to stay.
*Suggested but not required:
Melody’s Pet Ranch will not call your vet for information, if your pet’s vaccinations have expired since your last visit, you must email, text or bring vaccination records on your next visit.
Cancellations
Reservations must be cancelled 48 hours prior to scheduled check-in time, if not cancelled 48 hours prior to check-in time, will result in a pending bill of ½ of your pet(s) entire intended stay, reservations made during peak seasons and holidays must be cancelled at least 1 week prior to check-in date to avoid being charged for your pet(s) entire stay.
*Customers that are NO-SHOWS will be charged
a 25% fee for their pet’s entire scheduled stay.
Holiday Reservations
Reservations made during holidays or peak seasons may not be modified 1 week prior to check-in, if cut short once pets are checked in, entire charge of original reservation will be applied to guests boarding bill even if pets are checked out prior to original check-out time. Reservations during this time may be extended if their availability.
Melody’s Pet Ranch will be closed for pick-up and drop off on major holidays; New Years Day, Easter, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving and Christmas, however, our staff works during holiday days to ensure your pets are enjoying their stay.
We currently charge $25.00 per pet to hold a run.
Melody’s Pet Ranch Tours
Kennel tours are available during normal business hours, preferred by appointment to allow our staff member to give a guided tour, only Melody’s Pet Ranch staff are allowed in the indoor and outdoor facility area, customers attempting to enter these areas cause excitement with our guests and could lead to pet’s altercations, if interested to tour Melody’s Pet Ranch, please make prior arrangements by phone to have a tour set-up.
Trespassing is prohibited
Resort hours of operation are clearly posted on Melody’s Pet Ranch sign at main gate entrance, office lobby and website, any person entering Melody’s Pet Ranch property during non-business hours will be considered trespassing, regardless of, if front gate is opened or closed, trespassers may be prosecuted, we take the safety of our guests and staff seriously.
